The Art of Enchantment
Tiffin Art Guild presents a celebration of the mysterious, the magical, and the marvelous.

This October, the Tiffin Art Guild invites artists to step beyond the ordinary and enter a world of Enchantment—a world where fairy tales come to life, wizards cast their spells, mythical creatures roam, and legends may be closer than we think.
Created in collaboration with Downtown Tiffin’s October festivities and Wizard’s Weekend, The Art of Enchantment explores the stories, creatures, places, and imaginings that capture our sense of wonder.
Artists are invited to interpret the theme broadly and creatively. Works may be inspired by:
- Fairy tales & folklore — princesses, castles, enchanted forests, magical kingdoms and timeless stories
- Wizards & magic — spells, potions, magical objects, alchemy and the mysterious world of the arcane
- Mythology — gods, heroes, legends and creatures from cultures around the world
- Mythical creatures — dragons, unicorns, griffins, mermaids, phoenixes, faeries and more
- Cryptids & mysterious beings — Bigfoot, the Mothman, lake monsters and creatures yet to be explained
- Enchanted places — mystical forests, hidden realms, moonlit landscapes and otherworldly destinations
- Magic in the everyday — finding wonder in ordinary places, unexpected moments and the world around us
- Dark enchantment — witches, ghosts, curses, mysterious shadows and the wonderfully strange
- Whimsy & imagination — anything that transports the viewer from the familiar into a world of possibility
The Art of Enchantment is ultimately about wonder—that feeling that there is more to the world than what we can see.
Enter your art in a show where imagination has no boundaries, legends walk among us, and perhaps… just perhaps… magic is real.

“The Secret Life of the Sandusky River” — what creatures might live beneath the water?
“The Cryptid of Seneca County” — artists invent their own local legend.
“After Midnight on Market Street” — what happens downtown after everyone goes home?
“The Ghosts of Tiffin” — fictional or historical interpretations.
“The Enchanted Ritz” — a magical interpretation of the historic theater.
“The Wizard of Tiffin” — a playful local take on the Wizard’s Weekend.
“The Fairy Village” — miniature homes hidden in an enchanted landscape.
“The Forest Beyond Tiffin” — what lies just beyond the familiar?
“If Tiffin Were a Fairy Tale” — artists reinterpret the community as a storybook world.
